Kenneth Fulton was convicted of indecent assault against a ten year old girl. Key evidence supporting the girl’s account was given by doctors. Fulton claimed that the girl’s account was made by at the instigation of her mother. On appeal, new medican evidence was presented which cast view on the account given by the doctors at the original trial. On this basis, the conviction was quashed.
