Years in prison:

Year of crime:
2003
Year conviction was overturned:
2009

Jason Giles was convicted of supplying and producing drugs after being found in the home of Steven Leonard where police found drugs. Leonard claimed he owed Giles money and agreed to let Giles use his home to process his cocaine into crack cocaine. However, there was no disclosure to Giles’ legal representatives about police intelligence suggesting Leonard was lying and was an established dealer in crack cocaine. The appeal was allowed and Giles’s conviction was quashed.
