Andrew F was convicted of sexual offences, after allegations of sexual assault were made by his nephew (who claimed he was made to perform oral sex on Mr. F and to have anal intercourse with him). On appeal, evidence of a genital abnormality was said to be powerful evidence that what the the nephew had said had taken place was not true. Mr. F suffered from a condition that causes a substantial degree of curvature to the penis, but when the nephew had been asked if there was anything significant about the appellents genetalia he had said no.
