Suzanne Holdsworth was convicted of the murder of Kyle Fisher who was a toddler at the time of his death. She was alleged to have smashed Kyle’s head against a bannister. But there was no visible blood, no hair, no skin on the bannister, and no DNA test was carried out. The miscarriage of justice became clear when Newsnight reported on the case. New defense experts testified that Kyle suffered from brain disorders that were likely responsible for his death (through a fit).
